KidFit is an exercise class designed just for kids with an emphasis on aerobic fun and strength conditioning exercises. It is a great way to introduce children to fitness or improve motor skills and movement knowledge. Many of our activities are done with music and imaginative songs which help to improve listening skills. All KidFit classes offer a non-competitive environment and follow principles for maximum participation.
These 45 minute sessions are intended to get kids up and moving! Teaching them the importance of exercising their hearts, lungs and muscles. In addition, these exercises will help increase bone density, muscle strength, improve gross motor skills and listening skills. This class will help foster an appreciation for fitness and good health. Along with exercise, this class will begin teaching the foundations of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
